Learn the skills to build and deploy your own backend applications from scratch

This hands-on course introduces the core skills needed for backend development over 4 sessions (4 hours each). You’ll learn the difference between frontend and backend, how servers and APIs work, and how to connect your application to a database. Working with a modern tech stack (Node.js, Python, or PHP), you’ll build a REST API, implement basic authentication, and even deploy your project online.

Ideal for beginners with some technical experience who want to understand how the backend powers real-world applications.

No coding experience necessary (though could be advantageous) but you will need to have your own computer and be proficient technically.
