Sessions will be open and conversational, with a mix of group work and individual tasks, offering a friendly and relaxed environment with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

• Intro to Trusts & Foundations: What are they and how much do they give?
• Building a case for support: How to make a strong case so funders support your cause
• Grants research: How to find good funding leads
• Writing for impact: Writing winning bids that jump off the page!

• Basic understanding of trusts fundraising
• Writing skills
• Knowledge of fundraising resources and tools

The course is at introduction level and there is no prior knowledge needed. However, the course will be particularly relevant to candidates with existing writing and communication skills or knowledge of working in the charity sector.
